On Wednesday Deerfield hosted a strong team from Worcester Academy that went into the game having lost only once so far this season. In the first half the DA boys matched their opponents in every way, and neither side managed to score. However, the second half began poorly for DA, with Worcester scoring 3 times in the first 10 minutes. Thereafter, DA continued to challenge the visiting team and came close to scoring on several occasions. The game ended Deerfield 0 – Worcester 3.

Deerfield looks forward to hosting Andover this coming Sunday.
