JV Golf played Cushing’s varsity golf team yesterday on a rare dry and sunny day. Deerfield prevailed 221-228, and were led by junior Jarod Harrington’s 38, a career best score for him. The match was our first held on Crumpin’ Fox’s challenging back nine, making Jarod’s accomplishment all the more impressive. Sophomore Axel Mattsson’s 44, senior Nathan Hu’s 45, junior Janis Chen’s 47, and sophomore Teddy Donohue’s 47 rounded out the scoring for Deerfield. We have our last match this coming Saturday at Loomis.
