The Boys Varsity Swim & Dive Team swam an exciting and competitive meet against Exeter on Saturday, January 12th. While Exeter won this close-fought meet by ten points, the Deerfield boys demonstrated great enthusiasm and intensity throughout. The strength of both teams ensured close races at all positions in the pool and pushed over ¾ of the team to earn season-best times or scores in at least one of their events. The boys concluded the meet with two impressive and thrilling finishes in the 400 Free relays, placing first and third respectively, and crushing their previous times in this challenging final event. Overall, the meet highlighted the endurance the Varsity Boys have built in the first months of the season and prepared us for the meets ahead. The team travels to Choate for their first away meet of the year on January 19th.
