On Wednesday, January 24th, the boys thirds basketball team hosted Loomis Chaffee at home in the west gym and came away with a solid 45-26 victory. With the win, the team evened their record at 4-4 on the season. Deerfield got off to a great start, leading 10-0, and never really let Loomis back in the game, leading by the same margin at half-time. The team was led by Crawford Rice ’21 with 13 points and Topjor Tsultrim ’18 and Rian Bogle ’19 with 7 points apiece. The scoring was otherwise balanced, with a total of 10 players scoring. The boys thirds team will be back in action on the road against Avon Old Farms on January 27th at 2:30 pm.
