After a long bus ride down to Brunswick, the team was a little sluggish to start. However, we did make the most of the few chances we got in the first half. One goal came off of a counterattack while another came off a free kick that we had implemented in Friday’s practice. We came out of halftime much more composed and were able to string together five or six consecutive passes for some beautiful soccer. It was a team win as everyone contributed to our success on the field today. Our play today could be described as “scrappy”.
