Senior Joni Otto-Bernstein clinched the victory for Deerfield in the final home match of the 2018 season, as Deerfield defeated Suffield 7-0 for their seventh straight win. Suffield drops to 5-7 with the loss.
In doubles play, Otto-Bernstein and Arthur Yao got things started with a 6-1 victory. Deerfield clinched the doubles point when the new team of Alfi Auersperg and Cosmo Hunt took a 6-2 decision at the top spot.
DA gave up only eight games in singles action, including victories from senior captains Matthew Wuyan and Gideon Yektai.
