24 Class “A” boys started today’s 3.7 mile hill climb up an incredibly steep climb to the base area of Killington Mountain. The Deerfield squad showed up in great shape and had a solid day on the mountain. Alex Weinman ’19 finished 6th overall with a solid time of 20:12, the fastest finish of his 3 years at the race and the fastest time of any cyclist not attending a year-round “cycling academy”. Geraci finished in 12th place, O’Donnell finished in 16th and Wurts finished in 22nd as the only freshman in the A field. A great day for the team under sunny skies!
