Deerfield came out on top against a scrappy St. Paul’s squad in front of a lively Friday night home crowd. St. Paul’s had no answer for Bennett Pitcher’s post play, as he chalked up 19 points while leading all players in rebounding. Nick Osarenren added 15 points while Sam Powell controlled the tempo of the game from the point guard position. In stretching out the lead to seventeen points in the second half, every Deerfield player saw minutes and contributed to the win.
