After a high octane battle against Hotchkiss the night before in front of a raucous crowd at home, Deerfield traveled down to Easthampton to play Williston on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, the third game in four days really showed and Deerfield found themselves down 20 points at halftime after their slowest start to a game this season. Although the second half was a step in the right direction with better energy, Deerfield was unable to overcome the 20 point deficit and it was Williston who emerged victorious. Jackson Mannix led Deerfield scorers with 12 points and Colman Shea added 9. Next up are the neighbors to the north on Wednesday, NMH.
