Salisbury traveled to Deerfield this Saturday for a Class-A tilt that took a 4:00 minute overtime session to decide. Both teams showed skill and discipline on the offensive end in the face of energetic defensive efforts. The game was close throughout. Dallas Hobbs hit a put-back layup at the buzzer to send the game into overtime. Unfortunately, Deerfield’s bid for victory fell short as a steady Salisbury team closed out the game in the extra time. Colman Shea played the best game of his Deerfield career to date, scoring 25 points on a variety of three-point shots, baby-hooks in the paint, and drives to the hoop. Jackson Pitcher pitched in with 18 points.
