Deerfield entered a hostile Andover arena in a clash of Class A rivals that saw several lead changes in the second half until Andover pulled away in the waning seconds as the trailing Deerfield squad was forced to foul. Jackson Mannix led Deerfield with 15 points. Billy Lahart, in his first game back from a bout of mono that sidelined him since winter break, chipped in 13. Evan Santos kept Deerfield in the game early with eight first half points. Both Colman Shea and Jackson Pitcher scored 10 points.
