Boys JV Soccer hosted Brunswick´s JV on a hot Saturday afternoon. Both teams entered the game with very short benches due to injury, sickness, and the now-frequent absences for other reasons. In any case, the game played out well for Deerfield, a 6-0 victory that was settled with a late first-half flurry. Brunswick worked hard to play good fundamental soccer but was a bit outmanned in terms of age and strength in this one. Scoring was spread around among our several forward players and the defense kept our keeper with just a minimal run of saves on through balls and the occasional cross. We expect a much bigger challenge next game!
