On a rainy Wednesday afternoon in Pomfret, CT, the Doors came out strong against the Gryphons. Throughout the game, the girls demonstrated strong passing and connected well all over the field. They took advantage of their offensive opportunities, scoring four goals in the first half alone. Ali scored two tallies, while Juliet and Meredith each added one. Two of those goals were assisted by Maggie and Meredith. After making some line up adjustments at half time, we were able to see some strong play from every member of the team. Tori played well in the midfield, while Caroline and Emily were strong in the back. Meredith and Tierney also contributed two more goals in the second half, finishing up with a 6-0 final. Next up, the Doors travel to Hotchkiss for a 2 pm match on Saturday. Go Big Green!
