Event Details

The Big Green traveled to NMH for a Monday afternoon ball game and came away with their fourth conference win of the season by a score of 8-3.  Deerfield now stands 4-6 in the conference.  Deerfield’s pitching was excellent behind three hurlers.  Senior starter, Will Suter, got the team off to a solid start.  Sammy St. Jean ’18 followed with effective relief into the 7th.  It took Henry Gustavson ’20 only 7 pitches to record 3 outs in the final frame to seal the win.  David Thomas ’20 had two hits, Eamon McNamara ’20 had a hit and an RBI, and Colman Shea ’18 ripped a big RBI base hit during Deerfield’s big 4th inning.  The Big Green take on Dexter School on Wednesday and Andover in a conference doubleheader on Saturday.
