On October 19th, JV Boys Soccer played against Loomis playing the best first half of the season thus far. While DA started strong with good possession play and great exchanges in the other team’s half, the team found itself a goal behind early in the second half. DA did not however lose focus or the energy and soon equalized through Kevin Hendrick’s dexterous placement of the ball in the top right corner. The chance came from Mason Horton’s free kick which created a scramble in oppositions six-yard box and presented Kevin with the opportunity. DA got ahead soon after when Nolan Zusi slotted home a penalty kick with great composure. Unfortunately, the team was unable to maintain the advantage and Loomis came back in the last minutes to end the game in a 2-2 draw.
