The Varsity cycling team headed north for the first race of the year at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the Proctor Circuit Race. Liam and Alex took to the line first in the “A” race. After 6 laps of controlled racing, Liam attacked the field taking a Portsmouth rider with him. On the final lap, Liam attacked again and gained a critical gap which he held through the finish line, a remarkable 6th straight prep school series victory. Evan stayed safely in the field and dished out a great sprint for a 6th place finish, a great result for the first year cyclist! Max and Julien also had great results in the “B” field and will move up to the “A” division next week at Killington as we chase an overall team “A” victory in the season long series.
