Seniors: Submit Your Yearbook Quotes and Collages

communications – January 20, 2012

Seniors, it’s time for you to make your quotes and collages. This year you are allowed 1150 characters for your quote, and a choice of three different types of collages.  Click “continue” to read all the details and find out what you need to do!…

You have 1,150 characters including spaces to write your quote. You are limited to this space. To highlight text use CAPS, but please be aware that caps take more space than uncapped letters. Please do not use bold.  Feel free to include your favorite quotes, song lines, poems, and any notes of congratulations to friends or anecdotes about your time at Deerfield.  Please be respectful when writing your quotes. Refrain from vulgar language and inappropriate inside jokes. Your quotes will be thoroughly reviewed before publication.
Senior Quotes will be due on Wednesday, February 8, after Long Winter Weekend. They can be submitted in the body of an e-mail or through an attachment to

This is your opportunity to get together with friends and showcase your photographs!  Please be respectful when making your collages. Any inappropriate pictures will be removed. Nudity, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco products are not permitted.   Have fun with these!  Your friends and teachers will look back on your quotes and collages for years. We encourage you to leave your personal touch on the Pocumtuck 2012!  Collages will be printed in black & white although you may use color or black & white in the collage preparation.  Your group may make one of three types of collages, but you may only be a part of one collage group:
  • Groups of 20 or more people will have a full 2 page spread.
  • Groups of 10 or more people will have 1 full page.
  • Groups of 5 or more people will have ½ page.

1. Digital Photo Collage

We will be offering assistance during our regular meeting times for you to come in and make your collages digitally. One or two members of your collage group can come down to our offices in the basement of the Classroom Building with your digital files (photos on USBs, CDs, or via e-mail) and we will help you to arrange them electronically.

Our doors will be open the following week (Monday the 13th-Thursday the 16th) for you to come in and work on them if you choose to do them electronically. We are available Monday and Tuesday from 3:45-5:15pm, Wednesday from 1:45-2:15pm, and Thursday from 4:00-5:30pm.

2. Traditional Collage

We will provide a poster board, glue and scissors for you to put together a traditional collage.

3. Group Photo
