New York Service Project:

PAVE Academy Charter School prepares Kindergarten to 8th grade students to thrive in competitive high schools and four-year colleges. Founded in 2008 by Spencer Robertson (DA ’93), PAVE provides its students with a rigorous academic program and a community built on the school’s core values of Perseverance, Achievement, Vibrance and Excellent character.

Schedule – Saturday, April 6, 2013
9:00 – 9:30am, Welcome and Tour
9:30am – 12:00pm, Volunteer Projects – Tutoring (30), Lottery Letters (4), Elementary (4) and Middle School Library (8)
12:00 – 1:00pm, Lunch and brief remarks at PAVE

Los Angeles Service Project:

Food Forward’s mission is to reconnect people with people – through food – by bringing together volunteers and neighbors to share in the gleaning and distributing of locally grown food from private homes and public spaces which is then distributed to local food pantries and organizations serving those in need.
