Kilimanjaro Summit

Siblings Alina ’17 and Tim ’20 O’Brien have completed the climb of mount Kilimanjaro in December of 2024. They reached Uhuru Peak at sunrise having gained 1000 feet of altitude in 7 hours. During the night tempeature drops to -17F. The overall trek took 8 days. Mount Kilimanjaro is the world’s tallest free-standing mountain reaching 19,341 feet in altitude.
