A while ago I reported that we had moved from Stanford to Cold Spring New York. This was part of our plan to return to London, where we are right now. Were we in Cold Spring we would certainly have come along to our Grand Reunion. As it is we send our greetings and wish we could be there.
We now spend much of our time in London but we still have our home in Cold Spring. London has many attractions as well as memories of the many years that we lived here before moving to Stanford. For both of us, work goes on. Ilse had a painting accepted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and I continue with scientific work. Somewhat to my surprise this seems only to get harder as I now am pretty much free to work on what I want and think is really important. And, as always, time is the scarce resource.
We wish everyone a memorable sixtieth Reunion!
All our best wishes,
Michael & Ilse Godfrey ’55
