Dinner with Mike Nash ’81, Brian Nelson ’80, and Rob Sartin ’80

Managed to pull off my second post-stroke non-therapy goal for the year with a road trip to Portland, OR. Saw Carlsbad Caverns, Taos, Arches, Salt Lake City, and Twin Falls on the way up, and Yosemite and Sequoia on the way back. By happy coincidence, two other Deerfield boys were in Portland, and we got together for dinner at Jake’s Grill. Mike Nash ’81 was in town on business, and Brian Nelson ’80 was in town handling family matters. Mike and Brian were corridor mates in Chapin their first year at Deerfield (Mike’s freshman, Brian’s sophomore).
