Our travel programs offer students an opportunity to develop the skills and attitudes essential to global citizenship. By challenging students to consider new perspectives and different cultures, these trips seek to integrate a Deerfield education with the shifting realities of the wider world. Led by experienced Deerfield faculty, these programs also allow students to deepen their relationships with the faculty leaders and their fellow travelers. Students return to campus with new perspectives and a broadened world view that prepares them for college and beyond.
To apply for one of our faculty-led travel programs, students should complete our online travel program application. Financial aid for Global Studies programs will be available on a limited basis with priority going to students who have not previously received aid for a Deerfield trip.
Deerfield students also have the opportunity to participate in an exchange or service project, term-away and off-campus study programs, or a variety of other travel programs run by outside organizations.
