Outlook 2011 Configuration

  • Double click on the Outlook icon on your dock.
  • In the first window, click Continue.
  • Click Yes, click No, then click Continue.
  • Click Done.
  • Check the box to make Outlook your default email application.
  • Click Add Account.
  • Click Exchange Account.
  • Type in your email address.
  • Type in your username like this:  da\jwalsh 
  • Type in your password.
  • UNCHECK configure automatically.
  • For the server name, type in: mail.deerfield.edu
  • Click Add Account.
  • Close the window.

 

You should hear a “bling” sound indicating that it’s been setup properly and you’ll start to see your email show up in your Inbox.
