New position

Rev. Robert Ives ’65 was recently appointed to the newly created position of Director of Religious and Spiritual Life at his alma mater Bowdoin College, effective Jan. 2013. He retired in June 2012 as founding director of the Carpenter’s Boat Shop after 33 years.

Class Note from 1965

Alan Firestone writes in: “I’m going to retire from the practice of medicine after 37 years in the same location. I’ll still teach at the Med School and will play more violin and piano and soccer, and cook and travel with BJ, my wife.”

1965 Update

Christopher Monkhouse is currently organizing a major loan exhibition titled “Irish Art on a World Stage, 1640-1853″ which will open at The Art Institute of Chicago on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17) 2015 and run through to June 7, 2015.”
