Growing Food and Awareness

During Greenhouse winter co-curricular Katie Salinetti of the grounds department worked with three students to plant and grow organic salad greens and other vegetables. The salad greens are now being used in the Dining Hall and the vegetable plants are thriving–promising zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes and basil. While we can’t feed our entire appetites from the greenhouse, we can feed our curiosity and nourish our spirit.
