The schedule for family weekend (October 23-25) and instructions for scheduling individual meet-and-greets through PickATime are available on the Deerfield Parents Network website.
Don’t forget! The Day of Silence is on Friday, April 19th. Here are some reasons why your classmates think it’s important:
“The Day of Silence is important because it brings attention to the silence that members of our community may be suffering through every day.”
“DoS is important because it has helped me to understand what it’s like to be a closeted student; to hear things, but not be able to speak out.”
“I think it’s important that we remember there are people who are afraid to be who they are and live in fear of judgement by their friends. That’s the importance of the Day of Silence, because living in fear is no way to live.”
