The oldest book in the library can be found in one of our newest acquisitions – Slavery and Anti-Slavery: A Transnational Archive. Titled Qvattro orationi de M. Bartolomeo Spathaphòra di Moncata … : L’vna in morte Serenissimo Marc’ Antonio Triuisano. L’altra nella creatione del Serenissimo Francesco Veniero principe di Venetia, et una in difesa della seruitù. L’altra in difesa della Discordia, this book was written in 1554 by Bartolomeo Spatafora.
