The girls kept their momentum going and defeated Sacred Heart 6-1. In the semi-finals, Deerfield played beautifully against a deep, talented Baldwin team from Philadelphia. By defeating Baldwin 6-1, Deerfield made it to the tournament finals, where the team faced the defending national champions Greenwich Academy. The Deerfield girls played their hearts out, but lost the match 6-1. Hallie Dewey, playing in the #1 position, proved to be the lone victor for Deerfield, skillfully defeating her GA opponent 3-1.
