A tough loss for the squad against a talented GA squad. Â The girls held strong for the first 15 minutes under increasing greenwich pressure. Â Benedict ’13 had a career day in goal and faced shot after shot before the Gators broke through. Â GA scored again to make the tally 2-0 at the half. Â The Deerfield team came out ready to turn the tide in the second half but GA applied significant pressure and when the final horn blew the score was 0-4 in GA’s favor. Â The team looks to bounce back on Wednesday against a very talented Williston squad!
