The Deerfield Girls’ Cross Country team today defeated Exeter 17-39 on a summer-like October day in New Hampshire. The course was thoroughly soaked from the previous day’s deluge, but the Deerfield girls were not deterred as they ran to the front of the pack right from the start. The girls included Devinne Cullinane who won the race in 19:24, Lilah Lutes, Pheobe Morss, Emma DeCamp, Lauren Ilsley, Nahla Gedeon Achi, Kylie Davis, Alexia Hernandez, Bea Madersbacher Eid, Kaity Jia and Mary Brouder. Next week the girls take on PA in Andover. The following week they host NMH, and then on to North West Park in Windsor, CT for the New England Championships.
