B JV Squash vs. Westminster – Away

The Boys headed down 91 to Simsbury to take on the Martlets of Westminster.  Westy has eaten DA’s lunch and won this match for the past four years.  Today saw a different result but both squads played fantastic squash and the final score did not reflect how close this match truly was.  Playing one man “up” due to injury, Westy faced the challenge we faced earlier in the season when varsity players went down to injury and our JV squad was short-handed.  The Deerfield Boys played very well today and brought home a well earned victory.  Jamie won, George won in  3, Joe lost in 3, Francis won in 3, Justin won in 5!, Connor won in 5!, Augie won in 4, Eddie won in 3, and Charlie won in 3.  Hats off to a classy Westy squad, sportsmanship ruled the day on both sides.  The Boys look forward to a rare home match against Williston this Saturday.
