B JV Squash vs. Eaglebrook – Home

The match this afternoon demonstrated how far the Eaglebrook squad had matured/improved over the course of this season.  Yes, the match tilted in DA’s favor and I applaud the Boys in Green for their effort but there must also be a tip of the cap to the you men from across 5/10 who fought very hard this afternoon.  Many of the matches were quite close and Eaglebrook took two of the five-game contests, showing resilience and tenacity.  DA did not stand down and the match came down to the #1 spot as DA had won at #3,#6,#7 and Eaglebrook had taken #2,#4,#5.  The top seeds did their squads justice as the first game was decided 20-18 in George’s favor, George also won the second and third games in extra points to seal the victory for Deerfield but the result was far closer than the 3-0 game score implied.  Hats off to the Eaglebrook side, this was an intense afternoon of squash and everyone put their best effort out on the court!
