Charlotte 49ers names Greg Froelich as the 49ers’ Special Teams Coordinator and Running Backs Coach. Froelich was a special teams and running backs analyst at Michigan from 2017-20 before joining the staff at Illinois as a special teams analyst for the past two years. “Greg comes to us from the University of Illinois where he played an influential role in one of the nation’s best special team units,” head coach Biff Poggi said. “Greg is incredibly hard-working, smart, and loyal… and has a substantial Big Ten football resume as a player and a coach.”

We were not able to get to my daughter Katie’s in New Hampshire, for Thanksgiving, since the birth of her daughter came rather unexpectedly two weeks early and little Charlotte Rose was only 3 lb. 12 oz.
