John Knight added to Alumni Executive Committee

Following in the footsteps of previous member (and former President) PB Weymouth, John Knight is pleased to announce that he has been added to the Executive Committee of the Deerfield Alumni Association for a three year term. The EC consists of up to 26 alumni distributed across the decades who work to engage their fellow classmates with information about DA and excuses to congregate like Day of Service and Choate Day. John Knight shared that, “Based on Facebook posts by his wife Amy Dunn, Chris Lotspeich appears to be in a battle with ALS. There was a family wedding this summer and there are lots of wonderful photos, some are included here. There is also an effort to support the family with meals (they are in Glastonbury, CT) that was posted by a family friend. We’ll see if there are other ways to support our classmate.

40th Reunion Weekend

William “Toby” Brewster ’79

Toby ’79 passed away yesterday morning with his wife Becca, his 4 boys and his brother Seth by his side.  Over the weekend, he came down with another lung infection; it came on quickly and prompted a steep decline.  Thankfully, all his boys were able to get home by early Wednesday morning and, as said, they were all with him and he was surrounded by those he loved most in his final hours.  I’m heartbroken,
