The Communications Office is happy to report that Deerfield Magazine picked up not one but five awards at the recent CASE (Council for the Support and Advancement of Education) District I Conference in Boston. They included Gold for Best Design in Magazines with a Circulation of 25,000 or less; three Bronze awards: Article of the Year: Independent Schools (“Rocker Evangelist,” Winter 2013), Independent School Magazines: Best Overall, and Independent School Magazines: Best Design; and Honorable Mention for Best Writing, Magazines with a Circulation of 25,000 or less. Deerfield Magazine was in good company, sharing the awards podium with revered institutions such as Tufts and Brown universities. In earning the Gold for Best Design, the Academy’s publication bested those of Harvard Medical School and the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth.
If you haven’t seen it already, the winter 2014 issue of Deerfield Magazine should arrive in your mailbox any day now. Interested in exactly how collaboration works?
