Job Posting: Assistant Director of the Annual Fund

Reporting to the Director of the Annual Fund, the Assistant Director of the Annual Fund will work as a member of the Advancement team to help reach yearly Annual Giving Campaign goals.

Primary responsibilities include: manage all fundraising activities for classes 26-46 years out from Deerfield with emphasis on the 30th, 35th, 40th and 45th reunions, track and report on prospect activity;  recruit and train volunteers to engage their class, identify and solicit 1797 society level prospects in assigned classes;  collaborate with the Associate Director of Alumni Relations to identify reunion programming for the 30th, 35th, 40th, and 45th reunions; actively participate in weekend and evening activities on campus, in any assigned geographic region, and other alumni/development organized events.

Qualifications should include a Bachelors degree, previous experience in development or similar industry, ability to work independently, ability to work with both reunion and non-reunion classes to meet Annual giving dollar goals, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to travel up to 20% annually.
