Parents Fall Weekend 2014

Schedule of Events

Here are some quick tips on the weekend!

Parking: On Friday morning, please park your vehicle FIRST near your student’s dorm or as directed by Campus Security, THEN proceed to Registration. Do not stop in front of the Main School/Academy Building.

Cell Phones: Remember that we are a “cell phone free” campus. Acceptable use guidelines for students are here. Let’s model good behavior and be fully present, especially during classes.

Drinking Water: Please bring a reusable water bottle to campus, as we do not sell/supply bottled water this weekend. We have hydration stations around campus.

Athletics: The Dean of Students office sent an email on June 18, notifying families that MOST athletic contests will be AWAY during Parents Weekend. See the Sat. Oct. 18 schedule here. We hope this aids in your weekend planning and registration.

Remember: Monday, October 20 is a day off from classes to give some families a chance to go off campus and spend time together. In order to take your child(ren) off campus following their last obligation on Saturday, this parent permission form will need to be filled out. Your child(ren) must also complete an overnight permission request. These online forms will be available on this site after the school year begins.

Registrations are due by September 26, 2014. If you need to make any updates, please contact us no later than October 3, 2014 at 413-774-1801 or events@deerfield.edu.
