Yanik Nichols

French Teacher, Admission Associate

Yanik’s love of languages began during her childhood in Vanuatu, a former French colony in the South Pacific, a place with over a hundred indigenous languages. During her undergraduate and graduate years, Yanik studied French Literature and Culture, earning her BA magna cum laude from the University of Vermont in 1992 and her MA from the University of Rochester in 1995. Since 1998, Yanik has taught French at different high schools in the Pioneer Valley: Northfield Mount Hermon, Mariamante Academy, and Turners Falls Public High School.
