Katherine joins the English Department from Davidson College, where she received her B.A. in English, magna cum laude, in 2014. While at Davidson, Katherine received departmental honors for her thesis on the poetry of Robert Penn Warren, but her academic interests also include religion, art history, in language. Outside the classroom, she was a Tour Guide, wrote and edited for campus publications, and served as a member of Davidson’s Religious Life Council. She has studied in Fes, Morocco, led backcountry trips in several states, and continues to seek adventure at home and abroad through hiking, running, reading, writing, and cooking. Currently, she is working toward her Masters in Education from the University of Pennsylvania through the Penn Residency Masters in Teaching Program. An Exeter graduate, Katherine is looking forward to returning to boarding school life as a teacher, coach, and advisor.
