Katie Calhoun has a BA from Williams College and a MST from the University of New Hampshire. She taught math and was a dean at Hotchkiss until 2006 when she and her husband, Rich, moved to Santiago, Chile, to teach at the international school, Nido de Aguilas. They moved to Deerfield in 2007 and Katie presently teaches math and coaches field hockey. She lives on Pocumtuck II with her husband, three children, and 22 students. She is currently researching the "flipped classroom" method and teaches sections of Algebra I, Honors Pre-calculus, and BC Calculus.
