Information Technology

Information Technology Services is responsible for all technologies at Deerfield.  These include the following:

Core Services

  • Networks – Install, upgrade and maintain the campus-wide networks and Internet connections
  • Systems – Install and maintain the servers that support network-based resources
  • Application Support – Provide access to and support for a set of standard applications, including installation and training
  • Technical Services – Provide installation, troubleshooting, and repair services for institutional equipment, including audiovisual resources
  • Telecommunications – Provide access to and support for communications services including voice and video

Collaborative Services

  • Administrative Technology – In collaboration with administrative departments, develop policies, procedures, and services in support of the administrative functions of the institution
  • Instructional Technology – In collaboration with academic departments, develop policies, procedures and services in support of the academic mission of the school
  • Web-based Services – In support of the Communications Office, provide the platforms and technical development and support for web-based resources, including DAINFO

Information Technology Services and the IT Help Desk are located in the Koch Center where we are open Monday – Friday, 7:45am – 4:30pm.  In addition, Help Desk services are available evenings and weekends during the school year.  We can be contacted at 413-774-1444 or helpdesk@deerfield.edu.
