Stuart Bicknell

Stuart received his BA from Middlebury and his Masters and Doctorate from the University of Massachusetts. While in graduate school, he presented a proposal to initiate counseling services at Deerfield. What began as 1-2 days per week has developed over the years into a comprehensive program with two full time psychologists on campus and a variety of student support services. Stuart lives in Amherst where he and his wife raised three children including a Deerfield grad (’93) and a current Deerfield faculty member. Stuart helps out, as time permits, with the soccer and tennis programs.
