Peter received a BA from Middlebury College in 1999 and an MA from Columbia University, Teachers College in 2007. He taught English at Deerfield from 2000-2005, then spent four years writing and performing music, working on political campaigns, tutoring, and attending graduate school. He returned to Deerfield in the fall of 2009.
