Already known on campus as a basketball coach and Hazel’s dad, Paul will join the Math Department while Nils Ahbel is on sabbatical next year.  An experienced teacher and coach, Paul has taught mathematics at numerous schools, including Head Royce School on the west coast, Western Reserve Academy in the Midwest, Lawrence Academy and Groton School in the East and The American School of Marrakech in Morocco.  Presently working on his Masters in Math for Secondary School Teachers at John Carroll University, Paul earned his B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley in 1995 and his M.Ed. from Kent State University in 2002.
