Frank Henry first came to Deerfield as a student in 1967; in 1978 he returned to work in the Development Office but noticed that teachers working with students were the most satisfied people around. After leaving for more education and a stint at Portsmouth Abbey School, Frank returned to Deerfield in 1982 and has been teaching English at the Academy ever since.

Although Frank has sought professional development with the NEH, NOLS, and the University of St. Andrews, he says his most influential experiences in education have been teaching, advising, and coaching students at Deerfield, from whom he has persistently learned.
