Beth's first job at Deerfield was as Dean of Admission and Financial Aid. She served in this role from 1991-1996, leaving after the birth of her second child. Beth returned to Deerfield in 2002 as a college advisor. In the years away from Deerfield, Beth volunteered as a CASA (court-appointed special advocate) on behalf of children in foster care, and worked part-time in the Smith College Advancement Office. Since 2002 Beth has enjoyed helping Deerfield students and parents navigate the college admission process. Before long she will be visiting colleges with her own children, both of whom are Deerfield students.
