Antonio will teach some of Steve Taft’s classes while Steve guides the department through the “technology initiative” in 2012-13. After earning his Masters in Political Science and Sociology from Universidad Complutense y UNED in Madrid in 1998, Antonio gained experience in a variety of occupations, working as a Staff Writer, Proofreader, Web Designer, Support Technician and Teacher.  For the past five years, Antonio has been a teacher for the School Year Abroad program in Zaragoza, Spain; he was awarded an Outstanding Educator award in 2010 for excellence in secondary education.  In addition to teaching, Antonio has devoted much of his time in recent years to writing, and his La Pieza was published in 2010 after he won a grant from Dirección General del Libro del Ministerio de Cultura.
