Andy Harcourt arrived at Deerfield in 1978, and has been a member of the Science Department since that time. He currently teaches AP Biology and AP/Cambridge Capstone: Global H2O, and has taught chemistry, geology and AP Environmental Science in past years. In the winter Andy coaches JV girls hockey, and in the fall he coaches Jr. B boys soccer. Andy is a dorm associate for Barton II, and lives with his wife Marianne on the edge of campus.
