Today we’re launching a “public beta test” of a new DANET.  Over the next week or so, we’ll gather feedback and comments from all of you, make adjustments, and then finally turn off the old DANET site.  During this testing period, if you find errors or omissions–or want to make a suggestion–please complete this form.

This Friday night, a singer/songwriter named Eric Stepanian is coming to campus. I’ve seen him play a couple times in Boston and he is great. Puts on an awesome show and is a really talented singer and guitar player. He will be playing in the Greer this Friday night from 8:30 – 10:30pm.

There will be a Community Swim on Sunday, October 17, from 1-2:30pm.

A new Jukebox for the Greer should arrive before the end of the week. All students will have the opportunity to put their own custom-made CDs into this new Jukebox. All songs must be CLEAN, your tracks will be checked. Please drop off your CDs to the counter at the Greer.

Community Swim begins this Sunday, Sept. 19, from 1 – 2:30pm.

The Deerfield Academy online store has received an overhaul! Check out Hitchcock House’s new web presence at store.deerfield.edu, where you will find everything from sweatshirts and ties to bags and umbrellas–all designed to ignite your school spirit! Remember to check back often, because new items are being added throughout the fall.

The fall American Red Cross class and CPR recertification starts Sunday, October 17. This is a full certification in American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, First Aid & CPR.
