Dance

Dance is offered as a co-curricular option at Deerfield and may be taken for just one, two, or all three trimesters. Students of all experience levels participate in a variety of technique and Pilates classes. Intermediate and advanced dancers have the opportunity to participate in rehearsals for all of our dance concerts. Exceptions to the two-term interscholastic athletic recommendation are made for any freshmen and sophomore students who are interested in participating in the co-curricular dance program.

Theater

Theater is also offered as a co-curricular option throughout the year. Students have the opportunity to be involved as actors, technicians, stage managers, and assistant directors, set, sound, lighting, and costume designers. No experience is needed, and everyone is welcome to join the ensemble. Each term, a full-scale production is presented to the campus and local community.
